Light up the Night for equal rights is the name of event that happened in the United States. Amy Balliett commended me to produce a logo for candle vigil in opposition to California’s Proposition 8. I produced a logo that would address both the English and Spanish speaking population in the United States. For this reason I created two separate logos so that both English and Spanish speaking LGBT groups could identify with. One of the problems with the LGBT movement is that there has not been enough drive to reach minorities in the US. It is vital for the LGBT community to reach the Spanish speaking communities in the US, because both communities are struggling for basic rights and protections that the majority of people enjoy.

The logo of this campaign was featured in major news media sources. In addition a flyer was created to demonstrate just 5 examples among many of discrimination because of LGBT are unable to marry their partners.
