AR Afrika was a proposal for an interactive system for a museum of African Art. Afrika Museum was experiencing a problem with the distribution of their visitors. In addition, Afrika Museum was also looking for a way to attract a younger audience. The museum presented an architectural challenge, where the users would spend more time in the outdoors area rather than the indoors area, and they wanted to find a technological solution for this problem. Our group, among others got assigned the task of creating a system that would fill the gap, by making the indoors area more interactive and more attractive to the visitors. Accessibility was an issue that had to be considered while building the system; for this reason we as a team had to assume that some of the technology had to be already present.
