Cups was an experimental art project were I got to try different materials with reflection and refraction. The objective of the assignment was to experiment with the different materials and their combinations. The light plays an important role in this composition. Basically we have four different materials in this scene. The teapot which is opaque but has some degree of reflection, the wooden bowl which is completely opaque yet it reflects some light, the cups which are completely transparent and play an interesting set of reflections and refractions with the light and with one another and last but not least the wall and the table where everything is located. Both completely opaque.
